No inspection can promise that. AS 4349.3 is an inspect and report standard: we record visible activity, damage and the conditions that attract termites. We never treat.
Concealed timbers, areas behind linings or under floor coverings, inaccessible roof and subfloor spaces, other pests, and the testing of electrical, gas, plumbing and appliances. Asbestos and mould testing are also outside it.
That is set by the building permit and whether the land is designated under the Building Regulations. The meter box notice tells you what was installed; if it is missing we record that.
