Pods, steel, vapour barrier and formwork are all on show for one day. After the concrete truck leaves, none of it can be checked or changed.
One of our inspectors will call you back. If it is urgent, call 1300 471 805.
On a recent Mambourin pre-pour we found the vapour barrier stopping short of the beams, cover short at the formwork, termite collars missing and reo bars left uncapped. Every one was fixable that afternoon.

One business day is usually enough, but send the pour date as soon as the builder confirms it.
It stops ground moisture rising into the slab. Where it stops short, the edge of the slab can wick moisture for its whole life.
It is how much concrete sits between the reinforcement and the outer surface of the slab. Too little and the steel can rust and crack the concrete.
Yes. Beam sizes, steel and set-downs are checked against the slab design and soil report for your lot.
That is the builder's call, but the report gives them a list to close first.
We check the design matches the class on the soil report. The class itself comes from the geotechnical engineer.
